The SIF Foundation Registry is a web-based platform designed to simplify the process for eligible Social Innovation Fund (“SIF”) intermediaries and subgrantees to obtain matching funds from foundations.
The SIF Foundation Registry aggregates information on eligible SIF subgrantees and intermediaries on a secure site which is made available to participating foundations. Funders can quickly search for subgrantees that meet their foundations’ grantmaking criteria, including filtering subgrantees by location, focus area, tags and search terms.
Participating foundations also have the ability to share comments with other foundations to facilitate collaborative funding opportunities. Each foundation maintains its own grantmaking decision authority.
The SIF Registry will launch in February 2012. SIF subgrantees and intermediaries interested in uploading their information may contact the Exchange directly by emailing: jagmi@growthphilanthropy.org.
