2014 Symposium

The 2014 Symposium on Scaling Social Impact took place on June 17, 2014 in New York City. The Symposium brought together nonprofit organizations, funders, professional service providers and academics to:

  • witness the final round of the Social Impact Exchange’s 2014 Business Plan Competition
  • gain insight from nonprofits and their funders engaged together in scaling impact
  • participate in one-on-one consultations to develop knowledge and skills for scaling impact
  • hear about a new cross-sector collaboration: the Initiative for Nonprofit Talent and Leadership

2014 Business Plan Competition

The Finalists- Friends of the Children, ReThink Health, and Tahiri Justice Center - presented their plans before an audience of over 250 grantmakers and nonprofit leaders.


Friends of the Children, of Portland, Oregon was selected as the overall award winner.
